Detection runs on a downscaled copy of the frame, so Blob is in small-frame pixels, not screen pixels — raise Detail if the ball is too few pixels to clear Min size. A clean throw should leave an unbroken run of bars in the trace above; gaps mean the ball was missed on those frames, which is what to tune the gates against. In video mode every frame is processed regardless of playback speed, and timestamps come from the media clock, so slowing to 0.25× buys thinking time without distorting the track.

Contact is never photographed — at 30fps the ball moves too far between frames to be caught on the wall. Instead the path is buffered, the reversal is found, a line is fitted to each leg and the two are intersected. Min turn sets how sharply the path must reverse to count; Min leg how much travel each leg needs before it is trusted. Calibrate the target by tapping its four corners in any order — that can be done after the fact, and stored impacts re-score against the new grid.
